The doors have closed on another fantastic CHEM UK exhibition. The Pilamec team would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to visit us at Stand C116 at the NEC in Birmingham last week.

It is always incredibly valuable to meet face to face with our partners, customers, and new connections across the wide variety of industries we serve.
Celebrating Growth and 50 Years in Business
This year felt particularly special for our team. Celebrating our 50th anniversary provided a wonderful backdrop for the event. We were thrilled to share the news of our recent factory move and expansion to a new 20,000 square foot facility in Gloucestershire.
Sharing our increased capacity for toll processing, milling, and sizing was a major highlight. It is clear that the industry is growing, and we are perfectly positioned to support bulk volume production and specialised handling requirements.
Key Themes from the Show Floor
Over the two days, our technical experts had countless engaging conversations about the future of material processing. A few key themes stood out during our discussions:
Sustainability and Circular Manufacturing: Many manufacturers are actively looking for reliable ways to reduce or rework waste. We enjoyed discussing how our crushing, sieving, blending, and re-packaging services can help reprocess production by-products back into usable raw materials.
Precision Particle Size Control: We spoke with several teams facing challenges with difficult materials. It was a great opportunity to showcase our ISO9001 accredited capabilities, from heavy-duty jaw crushing to exact sizing, blending, and repacking.
Custom Metal Powders and R&D: There was interest in our small lot milling and blending services. Visitors were keen to learn about our in-house laboratory testing facilities and how we can accurately scale up materials from small test batches to full bulk supply.
Metal Powder Supply: Interest was shown in our ability to quickly and efficiently supply a variety of metal powders from major producers. These are used in the aerospace, artistic, educational, chemical, and many more industries.
